1000 Women Strong
1000 Women Strong is a national constituency of Black women who will create a network of the millions of Black women who are building the Beloved Community engaging others in civic, community, and electoral campaigns. Founded by the leadership team from Stacey Abrams for Governor, 1000 Women Strong will recruit, train and mobilize its membership base through Peer2Peer Contact, Storytelling, and Visibility. With a baseline goal of engaging 100,000 Black women by 2022.
1VoteCounts
The Mission of 1 Vote Counts is to be innovative in educating high-risk communities on pertinent issues that will impact their future, foster growth, and increase voter registration participation through grassroots lobbying and citizen advocacy. 1 Vote Counts primarily provides services to Pennsylvania’s Dauphin County, concentrating on the City of Harrisburg and BIPOC suburbs (pop. 49,209 – 52% BIPOC). Voter registration efforts are focused on engaging the entire community (leaving no one behind); including citizens who are currently detained, as well as civic education efforts targeting BIPOC youth and returning citizens (formerly incarcerated citizens.)
Activate America
Activate America (formerly Flip the West) harnesses grassroots power to help Democrats retain and grow their majorities in the House and Senate. We recruit volunteers and provide them with opportunities for direct voter contact, including phone banking, texting, postcarding, Instagram Direct Messaging, and canvassing.
Alliance for Climate Education
The Alliance for Climate Education (ACE) was founded in 2008 with the mission to educate young people on the science of climate change and empower them to take action. Over the last decade, ACE has educated over 3.5 million youth, grown our action network to nearly 300,000 members, tracked over 1 million climate actions, and registered and turned out tens of thousands of diverse youth voters with a message of climate justice and urgency.
Alliance for Youth Action
The Alliance supports and scales the work of local organizations, building a movement of young people, by young people, and for all people. We envision a new era of locally-led democracy with inclusive processes and equitable outcomes, where young people engage in democracy as voters, organizers, and leaders, making the world more just, more sustainable, and more awesome.
Arizona Students Association
The student-led, Arizona Students’ Association works to actively empower the student’s voice, create concrete change, and advocate for student issues by developing student leaders; initiating and executing grassroots campaigns; raising awareness; creating a firm foundation on our stances through proper research; and engaging our government officials at a local, state, and national level. The members of the Arizona Students’ Association work cohesively toward creating a just society in which generations of student leaders understand their power, engage and empower diverse communities, and advocate for student issues. We exist to better our education system in Arizona and will continually work to make the State of Arizona a societal role model in the educational realm. Our efforts transcend borders and will educate students worldwide to have a conscious, aware, and engaged mindset. We believe that students globally – and from all walks of life and varying identities – have a right to an education that “shall be as nearly free as possible” (Arizona Constitution, Article XI, Section VI).
Asian Community Development Council
When One APIA Nevada was founded in 2018, it was to provide a space for community members to share their stories and have a voice at the tables where policy is passed. The AAPI Caucus in the Nevada Legislature has grown to its highest number yet, with 7 elected members. Through our culturally relevant and translated electoral materials, we are able to reach the AAPI community in Nevada through various platforms, including digital ads, television, and movie theatre ads, ethnic media, and mailers. We were able to engage AAPI youth through organizations on campuses throughout the state. As the AAPI community continues to grow in Nevada, it is critical that we build a leadership pipeline to ensure the AAPI community is represented at all levels of office.
Atlanta Glow
Founded in 2014, Atlanta Growing Leadership Of Women (GLOW) is a Georgia-based 501(c)3 nonprofit that serves young women and girls, ages 14-25, from low-income, high-minority communities within the Atlanta metropolitan area. Atlanta GLOW provides mentoring, leadership development, civic engagement, workforce development and life skills training to ignite each individual’s potential and equip them with the tools to take action and thrive in their home, school, workplace and community. These efforts contribute to our organization’s mission is to encourage, educate and equip young, low-income women to be thriving, self-sustaining leaders and effective agents of economic growth within their communities.
Battleground Texas
Battleground Texas is a grassroots organization devoted to building an electorate that better reflects the diversity of Texas. We accomplish this by building the infrastructure at the federal, state, and county levels. Founded in 2013, BGTX has remained hyper-focused on expanding the electorate, specifically new LatinX, African American, and young voters, through intentional voter registration, engaging and turning out those new registrants and sporadic voters in elections, all while recruiting and training volunteers, staff, and candidates.
Black Male Voter Project
The work of Black Male Voter Project (BMVP)is to increase the number of Black men that participate in civic engagement and the electoral process. As the only national organization that solely focuses on the voting habits of Black men, we launched this organization because we saw the shortcomings in current techniques as methods of reaching Black men who were not super voters. Traditional campaigning is insufficient to expand the universe of sporadic or low-information Black men that participate in the electoral process.
Black Wall USA
Our Black Wall organization methodology creates executable plans that are designed to eradicate injustice and racism and aim to tear down the systems of oppression within our nation. Together, with like-minded individuals from all ethnicities, we are building Walls of Change that will become the foundation of THE BELOVED COMMUNITY. We are building a society based on justice, equality, and love for our fellow human beings. Within this Community, all are free from their past interactions and are able to look upon one another as equals. For when we love others as we love ourselves, the many become one.
CambioTexas
Cambio Texas was founded in 2016 and is a civic engagement organization committed to increasing voter turnout in South Texas. We are committed to bringing about economic and social equity by engaging Hispanic voters and developing a new generation of civic leaders. We imagine a government that reflects Texas. As a 100% volunteer-led organization we believe that our politics should be driven by ideas and solutions. Not special interests and checkbooks.

Campus Election Engagement Project (CEEP) is a national nonpartisan project that helps administrators, faculty, staff and student leaders at America’s colleges and universities engage students in federal, state and local elections, working to promote a more equitable and inclusive democracy, and to overcome the ever-changing barriers to voting.
CASA
With over 122,000 lifetime Latino, immigrant, and working-class members across 46 US states, CASA is the foremost immigrant organization in the mid-Atlantic region and a national leader in supporting immigrant families and ensuring that all individuals have the core supports necessary for full participation in society. Now a national immigrant powerhouse, CASA creates change with its powerbuilding model blending human services, community organizing, and advocacy in order to serve the full spectrum of the needs, dreams, and aspirations of members.
Center for Common Ground
Center for Common Ground was founded to educate and empower under-represented voters in voter suppression states to engage in elections and advocate for their right to vote. Together, we can build a democracy that prioritizes the voices of ALL people.

Chesapeake Climate Action Network
The mission of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) is to build a diverse movement powerful enough to put our region on the path to climate stability, while using our proximity to the nation’s capital to inspire action in neighboring states, around the country, and across the world. CCAN is the largest and oldest grassroots organization dedicated exclusively to fighting for bold and just solutions to climate change in the Chesapeake region of Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. We also know that a vibrant democracy is central to our success and we work to defend democratic integrity wherever we can.
Chispa Arizona
Chispa Arizona’s mission is to build the capacity of the Latino community to influence policy makers and protect communities’ rights to clean air and water, healthy neighborhoods and a safe climate for generations to come. Through grassroots community organizing, issue campaigns, and civic engagement, Chispa Arizona is creating local wins that collectively create momentum for strong action on climate change. We are empowering Latino families to demand accountability from decision‑makers who have turned a blind eye to environmental racism and disparities in their communities.
Climate Cabinet
Climate Cabinet is a tech-enabled climate action resource. We use underleveraged climate data to support candidates and organizations that need local, targeted climate information. Climate Cabinet increases organizations’ capacity – enabling tailored climate communications at a broad scale.
Climate Emergency Advocates
The climate emergency is here. The world as we know it is running out of time and the window for small, incremental action has closed. We need an emergency-level response to avert climate catastrophe—and leaders with the courage and mandate to take bold action. Climate Emergency Advocates (CEA) activates and empowers young people to demand and accelerate pro-climate policies and elect climate champions. Through sophisticated strategic communications and targeted state-based voter engagement, CEA mobilizes young people to rise up and use their powerful voices and votes to demand climate action and advocate for transformative policy to meet the urgency of this crisis.
Climate Reality Action Fund
The Climate Reality Action Fund is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization founded by former Vice President Al Gore to force climate action to the top of the political agenda. With 10 years to halve fossil fuel emissions and prevent climate catastrophe, our country needs leaders with the courage to act. The Action Fund is building a national movement of climate voters and mobilizing young people to vote for their future and support real solutions. Our message is clear: If our leaders won’t confront the crisis that threatens us all, it’s time for leaders who will.
Comunidades Organizando el Poder y la Acción Latina
Comunidades Organizando el Poder y la Acción Latina (COPAL) is a membership-based organization with a mission to unite Latinxs in Minnesota in active grassroots communal democracy that builds racial, gender, social and economic justice across community lines. Since launching in 2018, the organization has grown to include 10 staff members, a base of 150+ volunteers, and over 12,000 supporters across the state. COPAL works on key issues for the Latinx community, including: Immigration, Environment, Education and Democracy, and prioritizes grassroots leadership development in all its campaigns.
Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania
Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania is the statewide political voice for the environment. We elect environmentally responsible candidates to state and local offices, advocate for strong environmental policies, and hold our elected officials accountable to safeguard the health of our communities, the beauty of our state, and the strength of our economy.
Delta 4 Women in Action
Since its founding, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated (“Delta”) has been an action-driven organization. Accordingly, Delta has created D4Women in Action as an independent 501(c)(4), Delta-affiliated, nonprofit social welfare and advocacy organization. As a newly created and independent 501(c)(4) social welfare and advocacy organization, D4Women in Action constitutes a vehicle through which the public policy objectives, legislative priorities and targeted candidacies for public office which are reflected in and valued by the legacy of Delta can be significantly enhanced in a concerted and sustained manner. D4Women in Action seeks to enhance the political presence of Black women and women of color in the public policy, legislative and political arenas, and to build a pipeline of Black women and women of color engaged in enhanced, concerted and sustained social action, civic engagement and involvement in public affairs and the political process.
Down Home North Carolina
Down Home North Carolina is a project to build a statewide organization of rural and small town communities that advocate for economic, gender, and racial justice. We will move North Carolina toward the values of dignity, safety, and inclusion through leadership development, strategic campaigning, multiracial movement building, and civic engagement that advances real reforms for rural communities.
Earth Guardians
Earth Guardians inspires and trains diverse youth to be effective leaders in the environmental, climate and social justice movements using art, storytelling, civic engagement, and direct action. Now a global force, EG provides a platform for hundreds of youth crews involving thousands of young people to engage in some of the greatest issues we face as a global community. EG has trained 10,000 youth leaders through 300 on-the-ground crews located in over 60 countries. Youth actions include lawsuits against US and international governments for climate change inaction, climate strikes, campaigns against fracking and oil pipelines, get-out-the-youth-vote drives, and more.
EcoWomanist Institute
The mission of the EcoWomanist Institute is to increase the inclusion, ecological awareness, and environmental leadership of African American women within the eco-spirituality and ecojustice narratives through the three EWI pillars; Leadership, SoulCare/SelfCare and Advocacy.
Emerging Voters
Emerging Voters is a 501(c)(4) social welfare nonprofit dedicated to advancing the civic engagement of AAPI voters and promoting the welfare of the AAPI community. We do this by focusing on values important to each of our independent constituent groups, as well as those broadly shared by the AAPI community, and empowering them to become part of organized public life in America. Future Generations is led by the Seventh Generations philosophy held in common by traditional peoples and our ancestors around the world that the decisions we make today should result in a sustainable world for at least seven generations into the future. While historically it has been used to describe our relationship with the environment – understanding that economic, racial, housing, and healthcare justice, are undeniably interconnected, is crucial. We work nationwide with grassroots organizations to support, recruit, train, and endorse candidates who will commit to secure a just and livable planet for generations to come.

Generation Progress Action
Generation Progress Action is a national advocacy and education organization that promotes progressive solutions to the political and social issues that matter to young people between the ages of 18 and 35. We uplift the voices and leadership of young people to ensure that their perspectives and needs are represented in policy-making spaces at all levels of government. We focus our efforts on climate change, gun violence, immigration, student debt, and the criminal legal system. We view voting as a key component of grassroots advocacy. Generation Progress Action is housed within the Center for American Progress Action Fund.
Georgia Equality
Founded in 1995, Georgia Equality is the state’s largest advocacy organization working to advance fairness, safety and opportunity for Georgia’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer communities, and our allies.
Georgia Shift
Georgia Shift gives marginalized young people a seat at the table of democracy through electoral action, hands-on advocacy and education, and civic media programs. We envision a Georgia where marginalized young people of color are the fundamental driver of political impact and public policy at every level of government in an unbridled democracy.
Great Plains Action Society
Great Plains Action Society/Indigenous Iowa is a collective of Indigenous organizers working for environmental and social justice for the Indigenous peoples of the Great Plains region. By implementing traditional ideologies, we strive to resist and Indigenize colonial institutions, frameworks, and behaviors. We aim to be good stewards of the land and good relatives to the people. We do the work that needs to be done. Our homelands are located in the vast grassland of Turtle Island, situated between the Rocky Mountains and the Mississippi River and stretching from the Northern Tundra to the Gulf of Mexico.
Greater Augusta’s Interfaith Coalition
The Greater Augusta Interfaith Coalition celebrates religious freedom by championing individual rights, promoting policies that protect both religion and democracy, and uniting diverse voices to challenge extremism and complacency.
Ground Game Texas
Ground Game Texas is dedicated to engaging infrequent voters through progressive issue campaigns in cities across Texas. In 2022, Ground Game ran ballot measure campaigns in twelve cities, adopting policies to decriminalize marijuana, ban no-knock warrants, adopt a $15 per hour minimum wage, and promote climate action. Our $15/hr “Living Wage” campaign in Hidalgo County, across four cities, helped lay the foundation for CPA-funded voter turnout work Ground Game executed for the midterm election.
Heartland Workers Center
The Heartland Workers Center develops and organizes leaders, promotes workers’ rights, and fosters a culture of civic engagement to build power and create change with immigrant and underrepresented communities. We use the Cultural Wealth Model as a framework of our programs, where we develop six forms of capital, aspirational, linguistic, familial, social, navigational and resistance capital. Our programs focus on education which builds community leaders’ agency and confidence in organizing around issues of importance to them and their communities, and secondly on activating these members through our Core Team model to engage in activities like grassroots lobbying, Get Out The Vote canvassing and calling campaigns, and other forms of civic engagement.
Inter-Tribal Council of Arizona (ITCA)
The Inter-Tribal Council of Arizona was established in 1952 to provide a united voice for tribal governments located in the State of Arizona to address common issues of concerns. On July 9, 1975, the council established a private, non-profit corporation to promote Indian self-reliance through public policy development. The goal of ITCA and its commitment to the member tribes is to ensure the self-determination of Indian tribal governments through their participation in the development of the policies and programs which affect their lives.
Iowa Student Action
Iowa Student Action (ISA) is a statewide student organization fighting for an Iowa that puts people and planet before profits. At the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, the University of Northern Iowa, Grinnell College, Cornell College, and Drake University, ISA uses direct action, electoral organizing, and leadership development to train the next generation of community organizers and win big around Free College for All. Our vision of free higher education includes formerly incarcerated and undocumented students and the full cancellation of student debt.
League of Women Voters of Greater Omaha
The League of Women Voters of Greater Omaha (LWVGO) is nonpartisan 501(3)c organization working to build a democracy where every person has the desire, the right, the knowledge and the confidence in which to participate. LWVGO is composed of a working Board of Directors and over 300 volunteers committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility in principle and in practice. LWVGO engages low-propensity voting communities, new citizens, and young people through education and advocacy. Methods include college and high school outreach, production of a nonpartisan voter’s guide, a Go Vote, Omaha! television show, candidate forums, get out the vote efforts (phone banking, texting, canvassing), and voter registration events. LWVGO is proud to partner with over 50 nonprofits and community collaborators. The League of Women Voters of Greater Omaha believes in the respect for individuals, the value of diversity and the empowerment of the grassroots, both within the League and our community.
Left of Center
Left of Center is a women-run super PAC working in neglected areas rich with untapped Democratic votes. We harvest that vote to increase Democratic turnout in key races across our nation. Left of Center is a field readiness team working to lift Democratic votes by using uniquely tailored communication and organizing strategies.
Living United for Change in Arizona (LUCHA)
LUCHA organizes low- and moderate-income and minority families to take action on the issues most important to them and advance the cause of social and economic justice for all. Working in collaboration with our sister organization, ACE, LUCHA incorporates leadership development with grassroots issue-based campaigns, advocacy and civic engagement, to create an Arizona in which every resident has an equal voice in determining the policies and shaping the decision-making bodies that will govern our communal life.
Loud Light
Loud Light is focused on increasing youth civic participation in Kansas. We engage, educate, and empower individuals from underrepresented populations to build community power that has a real impact on decision makers.
LUPE Votes
LUPE VOTES is the 501(c)4 arm of LUPE- La Union Del Pueblo Entero, a community based organization in the Rio Grande Valley representing over 8,000 active members. LUPE is an offshoot of the United Farm Workers, founded by Cesar E. Chavez and Dolores. Huerta. LUPE Votes uses electoral and political organizing to win justice for immigrant and working-class South Texans. Our end goal is to build political power for communities we organize in by building the political capacity of our community. We train organizers, canvassers, and build a pipeline of candidates to run for office. LUPE Votes Gets-Out-The-Vote in all 4 Rio Grande Valley counties- and continued to do so in the 2022 MidTerm General election. We do this through door to door efforts, phonebanking, texting, and communication efforts through targeted ads and earned media.
Maine Students Vote
Maine Students Vote is a network of student and civic leaders that are focused on increasing democratic engagement on college campuses and highschools in Maine. We support campuses in developing voter education materials, organizational action planning, training and mentoring civic captains, and coordinating get-out-the-vote efforts.
Make the Road Action
Make the Road Action (MRA) builds political power rooted in working-class Latinx communities, promotes policy solutions that improve the lives of all working-class and low-income people, and strengthens the movement for justice through electoral and grassroots organizing to advance progressive political and policy change. A key piece of our work is mobilizing voters in our communities each year to ensure their voices are heard in the political process. MRA was founded in 2009, and, since 2015, has expanded from New York to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Nevada.

The Martinez Street Women’s Center provides transformative community health services, youth development programs and advocacy opportunities that empower women and girls of color in San Antonio. We envision a world where all women and girls are empowered to transform themselves, their families, and their communities.
Mi Familia Vota Education Fund
Mi Familia Vota Education Fund’s (MFVEF) mission is to build Latino political power by expanding the electorate, strengthening local infrastructures, and through year-round voter engagement. We are also training the next generation of leaders by opening opportunities through our Youth Development Programs and through our Mi Familia Vota work. We are strategically located in states with some of the highest Latino population counts, but have worked to identify and serve communities where Latino participation in the electoral process is lacking.
MOVE Texas
MOVE Texas is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization building power in underrepresented youth communities through voter mobilization, leadership development, and issue advocacy. We work all year every year to engage young people with the issues that matter most to them and ensure their voices are heard especially when it comes to issues like climate change, criminal justice reform, economic justice, and voting rights.
National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum
The NAPAWF is a nonprofit organization focused on building power with Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) women to influence critical decisions that affect our lives, families, and communities. Using a reproductive justice framework, we work to impact policy and drive systemic change in the United States at the local, state, and national levels. NAPAWF was founded in 1996 to amplify AAPI women’s stories and experiences. Today, we are mobilizing across 13 member-led chapters to create social, political, and economic change. We also show up in solidarity for other women of color who experience injustice and harms of oppression.

Nebraska Civic Engagement Table
The Nebraska Civic Engagement Table is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that works with nonprofits across the state of Nebraska to increase voter turnout among underrepresented communities, ensure their voices are represented in the policy decisions that affect their lives, and build leadership among community members and nonprofit partners. NCET does this by providing direct core support and capacity building resources to nonprofits working to create, expand, and sustain civic engagement and voter outreach programs and grassroots advocacy initiatives. Together, they’re building a culture of year-round civic engagement in Nebraska.
New Era Colorado Action Fund
New Era Colorado Action Fund organizes young people to win on the Youth Agenda through elections and policy making. Thanks to our organizing efforts and expansions in election access, young people continue to be a powerful voting bloc in the state with historic turnout in the last four elections. And we’ll continue to fight for equal representation at the capitol through our legislative, policymaking, and advocacy work.
New Georgia Project Action Fund
New Georgia Project was founded in 2014 with the goal of registering 1 million new voters in Georgia by the end of a decade. Since then, NGP has helped over 640,000 Georgians register to vote and grown into a state-wide, grassroots effort to go beyond voter registration. We meaningfully engage and build power with the New Georgia Majority and other historically marginalized groups – LGBTQ+ Georgians, rural Georgians, seniors, returning citizens, and more – across all of Georgia’s 159 counties. We are creating a culture of civic engagement in our state, which will fundamentally change the power structures in Georgia for years to come.
New Pennsylvania Project
The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is a voting rights organization founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. NPP is engaging and empowering young residents and those living in underrepresented and often neglected communities of color and immigrant communities to vote, providing education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods and mobilizing the electorate to vote in every election – twice a year. Our theory of change is a year-round, consistent engagement with neglected voters around the issues that matter most to them and their communities. Young people and people of color in Pennsylvania often don’t see themselves represented in the political process and need to be engaged about how voting, consistently, can bring positive change to their daily lives. Through relational organizing we are empowering, engaging, and providing civic education to potential voters about how participating in municipal, state and federal elections can help make the promise of our democracy real for all of us.
New Virginia Majority Education Fund
New Virginia Majority Education Fund builds governing power on our path for racial and social justice through year-round community organizing and voter mobilization in communities of color–communities that drive social justice reforms in Virginia. We work to create a powerful multi-issue, multi-racial movement to transform Virginia through large scale civic engagement, issue advocacy, and strategic communications and community organizing. Centering marginalized communities and communities of color in our organizing and advocacy work, and encouraging and empowering them to be more civically engaged has always been a part of our major strategies. We move our strategies forward through the model of integrated voter engagement: deep local organizing, broad-scale state level advocacy, year-long civic engagement programs integrated with local organizing campaigns, strategic communications and digital organizing, amd multiple leadership pipelines through which we are able to move people from the first interaction to members, activists, and leaders. Our model moves people not just into “habitual” voters or activists, but conscious, strategic and visionary leaders who anchor our work to build statewide power, and ultimately, governing power.
Next Up Action Fund
Next Up Action Fund engages the next generation of Oregon’s leaders to build political power through civic engagement and advocacy. Since 2007, we have championed policies redesigning our elections system in order to break down systemic barriers, making Oregon one of the easiest states to vote in. More broadly, we fight for innovative public policies led by Black, Indigenous, youth of color, disabled, low-income, immigrant, and LGBTQIAP+ youth that create a more just and equitable Oregon.
NextGen America
NextGen America fights for progressive change by growing and wielding the grassroots power of young people in elections. By registering, motivating, and persuading young people (age 18-35) in key battleground states, NextGen America is able to fight for a safe and livable future for Gen Z and Millennials. Through field organizing, digital engagement, and press outreach, NextGen America reaches young people where they are at to make sure they are able to cast a ballot for progressive candidates.

North Carolina Asian Americans Together
NCAAT in Action is a 501(c)4 organization founded in 2019 and based in North Carolina that works to build power in the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities in our state. Our work in direct voter outreach includes translating voting and candidate materials into Asian languages, conducting in-language phone banks, and deep canvassing. NCAAT in Action endorses candidates who are committed to supporting Asian Americans and other communities of color, advocates for progressive policies that support our community, and participates in election protection. Finally, our organization will support progressive Asian American electeds and build a civic engagement program that identifies and fosters potential candidates for office.

The North Carolina Council of Churches is a statewide ecumenical organization, reaching 18 denominations and 6,200 congregations. The Council enables denominations, congregations, and people of faith to impact our state on issues such as economic justice and development, human well-being, equality, compassion and peace. In our 85-year history, voting rights, voter education, and voter mobilization have been paramount.
Northern Arizona Interfaith Council
NAIC builds civic leadership and power across lines of race, class, age, and religion to organize for the common good. NAIC is a non-partisan coalition of institutions in Flagstaff, Sedona, and Prescott, with three basic goals: To build relationships based on trust and a willingness to listen to each other. To equip our members and leadership with skills and practices to get results. To achieve change on concrete issues, as part of our common call to justice. NAIC is funded by its member institutions and private financial support and accepts no funding from governmental or partisan political sources.

The Ohio Student Association is a statewide grassroots organization led by young people and anchored by student-led chapters on college campuses across the state. OSA brings together young Ohioans from different backgrounds and with different experiences to imagine and fight for a better future.
Ohio Womens Alliance Action Fund
The mission of the Ohio Women’s Alliance Action Fund is to disrupt toxic, systemic cultural norms that leave out the most critical voices in developing strategies and solutions for our communities. PA United is building a multi-racial, multi-generational movement across Western PA that unites all of us against those who profit off our struggles. PA United works throughout Western PA and has member-led chapters in Allegheny, Beaver, Centre, Crawford, Erie, and Westmoreland Counties.
Philly Thrive
Since our founding in 2015, Philly Thrive has been focused on winning a transition of PES, the largest oil refinery on East Coast, which polluted South Philly communities for 157 years and was responsible for over 50% of the toxic air emissions in Philadelphia, leading to a childhood asthma rate that is 2-3 times the national average. In 2020, through our people power, we won an end to pollution from the PES refinery and are now advocating for a complete clean up of the former refinery land, dignified jobs and investment in surrounding neighborhoods, and a permanent seat at the table for residents most impacted by the refinery..
Piedmont Environmental Alliance
Piedmont Environmental Alliance (PEA) works every day to educate and empower students, build community, and inspire action to create a more just, resilient, and environmentally sustainable region. Founded in 2006 with the first Piedmont Earth Day Fair, PEA is building a community of environmental stewards and climate leaders through our innovative education programs, annual events, partnerships, and advocacy work focused in North Carolina’s Piedmont region.
Planned Parenthood Advocates of Nebraska
Planned Parenthood Advocates of Nebraska works to educate and empower the electorate regarding issues of sexual and reproductive health and related rights of Nebraskans. As the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood North Central States in Nebraska, our 501(c)(4) organization mobilizes supporters of all parties to protect, promote, and expand access to sexual and reproductive health care and fact-based, medically accurate sexuality education, and we support social justice partners across intersecting issues such as immigration and voting rights. We do our work in the community, under the dome, and at the ballot box.

Planned Parenthood Texas Votes is the nonpartisan policy, advocacy and political arm of the three Planned Parenthood affiliates in Texas. We work to ensure that Planned Parenthood patients in Texas can access quality, affordable reproductive health care and education they need, free from political attacks, legislative barriers and with the support of state and local governments.
Rise
Rise is a student-led nonprofit organization advocating for free college and mobilizing young voters. Since 2017, Rise has led winning student advocacy campaigns for free community college, to stop tuition hikes, and mobilize student voters. In 2020, Rise is mobilizing more than 100,000 college students and young voters with a focus on statewide organizing programs in California, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Rural Organizing Project is a state-wide organization that supports a multi-issue, rural-centered, grassroots base in Oregon. We work to build and support a shared standard of human dignity: the belief in the equal worth of all communities, the need for equal access to justice, and the right to self-determination. Sisters in Service collaborates with local non-profit partners serving rural communities in the Southwest Georgia area. We are innovative through our Voter Registration Drive-By’s method of outreach across rural counties in Georgia. We are driven with urgency while increasing underrepresented voter turnout in rural Southwest Georgia. Sisters Lead Sisters Vote
Sisters Lead Sisters Vote (SLSV), a 501C(4) organization, provides support (technical and financial) for Black women’s political leadership. We believe that their leadership is essential to dismantling racism and building justice into our nation’s democracy. SLSV prioritizes the following issues: racism & social justice; environmental justice, economic justice and reproductive justice. Currently, we are preparing for the 2024 Federal Elections to continue its work against racism and oppression by advancing Black women’s political leadership locally. Our strength is in our vote and our relationships with the Black community. Our strategy is to amplify Black women’s voices; advance Black women’s political leadership; and expand Black women’s opportunities.
SONG Power
SONG Power is a home for LGBTQ liberation across all lines of race, class, abilities, age, culture, gender, and sexuality in the South, and the political and advocacy arm of Southerners on New Ground (SONG). SONG has been organizing in Georgia since the 1990s. SONG Power equips justice-loving Southerners with another toolbox to bring about liberation in our lifetime. SONG Power can push SONG’s policy demands further, drastically expand SONG’s membership, and enable us to contend directly for power across the South – and to call out targets, and allies, by name.
Southwest Georgia Project for Community Education
The Southwest Georgia Project for Community Education, Inc. is an established nonprofit organization founded by civil rights leaders Charles and Shirley Sherrod. The mission is to educate, engage, and empower communities through grassroots organizing and assistance. Southwest Georgia Project successfully organized this region to address the challenges of a highly segregated Jim Crow South and led the work that became known as the Albany (Civil Rights) Movement. We continue to work in 14 southwest Georgia counties addressing food insecurity challenges by increasing the capacity of black and family owned farms and by providing training and leadership development for youth to build new movements for new challenges.
SOWEGA Rising
SOWEGA Rising is dedicated to mobilizing people and resources to improve the wellbeing and quality of life for people in Southwest Georgia by advocating for racial, economic, and social justice. We organize on a range of issues including high light bills, rural health, environmental justice and tackling food insecurity to name a few. Civic engagement is a key part of our work, and thanks to partners such as Clean and Prosperous America, we were able to deploy resources in the 2022 election and runoff to register people to vote, increase voter turnout in Dougherty County and Southwest Georgia, and provide voters with day-of Election Protection support.

Despite making up 34 percent of the population, youth only make up 6 percent of the nation’s legislative body. Tucson Climate Jubilee
Climate Jubilee is a grassroots, community-led collective focused on facilitating a paradigm shift within Arizona residents in their perception of the Climate Crisis. When we realized there wasn’t space at the table for our voices, we built a new one, a bigger one. We are a group of millennial scientists, organizers, teachers, and community members who aim to create space for youth and BIPOC voices to learn about and get involved in the environmental issues that affect us the most. Our mission is to advance an intersectional movement that challenges the status-quo narratives about climate change we’ve heard in Arizona.

TurnUp is a non-profit organization and mobile app that comprises the largest youth-led voter registration and turnout initiative. We’re on a mission to strengthen democracy by increasing youth civic action and closing the gap between young people who want to take civic action and those who actually take action. TurnUp now has five programs including our internship training program, digital program, mobile app, on campus/relational voter registration and turnout program and ideas incubator. Vote Common Good
Vote Common Good is inspiring, energizing, and mobilizing people of faith to make the common good their voting criteria. In the 2020 election, we saw a 5-10% shift in Evangelical voters away from Republicans and are confident there is an additional 5-10% who are looking for an “exit ramp” from supporting the Republicans who sacrifice the common good. We engage these votes through direct contact with voters, changing the national narrative around religion and politics via media, and training Democratic candidates on effectively connecting with these voters.
Washington Bus Education Fund
The Washington Bus Education Fund is a statewide movement organization that increases political access and participation amongst young people in Washington State and develops the next generation of leaders and organizers. The Bus serves young people ages 18-35 from historically disenfranchised communities including people of color, women and gender non-conforming folks, LGBTQIA+ people, immigrant and refugee communities, working class, and first generation college students in Washington State. Our work in increasing youth civic engagement and political participation combats the legacy of voter disenfranchisement that leaves our base of young people without stake in the political decision-making process. We do this through our leadership development programs, civic education, and youth electoral mobilization.

We Win., the (c)4 arm of Georgia STAND-UP, is a boots-on-the-ground organization that advocates for policies that reduce inequality, increase minority representation, and generate power for marginalized communities. Wisconsin Conservation Voters engages voters to protect Wisconsin’s environment. To achieve that, WCV advocates for sound environmental laws and policies, holds elected officials accountable for their votes and actions, and elects pro-conservation candidates who will champion our priority issues.

Zero Hour and National Children’s Campaign
Zero Hour is a youth-led movement that fights for climate justice and works to bring the perspectives of youth and disproportionately impacted communities into the global movement towards climate action. Throughout the past year, we ran our Getting to the Roots of Climate Change Education Campaign to teach youth about the root causes of social injustice that have led to this crisis, and how we can advocate for a Just Transition away from Fossil Fuels.
The National Children’s Campaign’s (NCC) mission is to serve as a catalyst to inspire, encourage and empower everyone to make America’s children & youth a national priority. We promote health, education, safety, & environmental security through the power of advocacy, media and partnerships. The NCC has passed over 100 climate resolutions across the country.
